WNL Season IX Qualifiers at TFNTG

In February we held out first Qualifier of the season at TFNTG. This saw 3 people from each of our divisions qualify for the Regionals in June. Over Easter we will be hosting qualifier competitions for individual divisions where more will take qualifying spaces for our Regional competition.

Wednesday, April 3rd

PRETEENS 11-12yrs

• Doors Open: 2pm

Thursday, April 4th

KIDS 6-8yrs and MATURE KIDS 9-10yrs

Athletes will run as one wave but athletes results will be sorted by each age/gender division

What is the World Ninja League?

The World Ninja League is the premier obstacle league of one of the world’s fastest-growing sports in the world. The goal of the WNL is to develop the sport from the recreational level to the professional. Their global competition series gives athletes around the world the opportunity to compete in all levels of ninja competition. Every year thousands of athletes compete around the globe in hopes of becoming the next Ninja World Champion.

True Function Ninja Training Ground is proud to be hosting one of Europe's WNL Qualifier competitions this season. This event will qualify the top finishers to Regionals in May.

For many, this qualifier will be your first ninja competition, any ninja athlete will tell you that stepping up onto any starting block is no easy obstacle itself! This qualifier is a great way to practice performing under pressure, akin to a bigger stage like Worlds!

This Qualifier will see our ninja family come together! Hang out with your friends and teammates, cheer each other on, and have a great time!

 

Divisions

This qualifier is a Tier 1 competition for all ages! Athletes from all eight divisions from standard WNL competitions will be able to qualify to compete in the Regional Competiton in June.

Divisions are determined by the athletes age on 1st January 2024:

Kids	6-8yrs
Mature Kids	9-10yrs
Preteens	11-12yrs
Teens	13-14yrs
Young Adult	15-17yrs
Adult	18-39yrs
Masters	40+yrs
Elite	15+yrs

Everyone is eligible to compete in our WNL Qualifier, we can't wait to see you there.

 

Rules Format/Seeding

Flow Course

• Athletes will attempt to do all the obstacles in a ninja course without falling off or touching something out of bounds. Athletes will be ranked by who completed the most obstacles in succession in the least time.
• Rules will be explained to atheletes in the rules walkthrough at the start of each wave, anything that is out of bouncds will be will be determined by anything that the ref does not state as 'in-play'

Registration

Event cost is: £30 Kids/Mature Kids/Preteens/Teens.
